The Ztar Zages

Been a while, huh? Blame my motivation again. Sorry, but this has just been a slow time for me, especially for anything Paper Mario related. At least until decided to do work on his Wrath of the Ztar King project, including actually doing the story.

He's been posting revised versions of WotZK's enemies for a while, and while some of them remained mostly the same, some of them got complete overhauls. These are one such enemy group.

Meet the Ztar Zages, the sorcerers of the Ztar Army. Before, they had long cloaks, alien-like heads, and no arms. Here, they moreso resemble skulls with hands, and honestly, this fits the Ztar Army more than the previous design. Not to mention that they looked really cool.

Since these have been revised, their stats are a bit better. Last time I've checked, they're both fought in the final chapter and their stats are as follows:

The white Ztar Zage has 8 HP, unknown Attack, and 0 Defense.
The black Necro Zorceror has 13 HP, unknown Attack, and 0 Defense.

Hey, that's what the tattles say. And that's really due to the fact that they have loads of magic spells that do a variable damage range and has various effects. The Ztar Zages can burn, freeze, pierce DEF, raise stats, or heal. Meanwhile, the Necro Zorceror can summon spikes, confuse with an earthquake, summon a Ztar for massive damage, inflict a variety of status ailments with one attack, or summon mist that both damages you and heals itself and its allies.

As you can imagine, they're tough.
